When calculating frequency from a wavelength given in nm, do I first need to convert the wavelength to meters?
A photon of violet light has a wavelength of 423 nm, calculate frequency, energy in joules per photon, energy in kilojoules per mole. To get the frequency, must I first convert 423 nm to meters?
