Do you think the name Devin sounds more like a guys name or a girls name?

I'm writing a story and I need an opinion on the name Devin for a guy character, but the name can be used for a girl or guy, so which does it sound more like to you? Also, would you use a different spelling than I used (ex: Devon, Devan, Devyn). Just curious.
