Why did the chiefs release Pollard?

I noe this question is so controversial, but they always gave a bs not clear answer. They said something about he doesnt fit the system, he wasnt a negative influence in the locker room some bs like that. But up until he was release this came as a complete shock to chiefs nation in the rest of the nfl. I noe he took bad angles and sometimes would go for KO, but he was still the chiefs best safety. Under Herm Edwards we never heard about any bad rep from Pollard, he was a very emotional player on the field but you never heard anything about his attitude off the field or in the locker room? I noe dis answer only Haily and Poli noe but does any1 have a clue?
