Cat Has Eye Drainage?

I would take her to the vet and not put anything in her eyes unless given the ok from the treating vet. My other cat had (a virus) as someone else mentioned and she had to be given interferon to help boost the immune system. (We're supposed to naturally have interferon in our systems too.) A vet that practices alternative as well as conventional medicine recommended that we give our cat L-lysine which is an essential amino acid to help ward off future attacks. It's not a cure-all/panacea though, and Please do Not automatically give her that or anything else til the vet has examined her eyes. Hoping kitty feels better real soon.
