Is salty soup the same as salt water?
I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and have been told to rinse a lot. So far I've been using salt water and Lysterine. I REALLY hate rincing with the salt water. It's likely one of the grossest-tasting things ever. I know most people don't have issues with it, but I guess I'm just special. My question is this: do I get similar medical benefits if I just eat a lot of really salty soup (like those dry packets you buy and just add boiling water)? It's chemically very similiar, I'm just not sure if I'm missing some medical fact here. (Medicine isn't my forte.)
