I have a 2001 dodge ram 4wd 1/2 ton limited slip rearend clunk when going around cournering ?

hi whenever i go around a courner tight or not i get a loud clunk in rear end is this common for dodges ? i jacked the rear end up and there is slop when i pull the tire strait out and side to side almost like a wheel bering but had them checked 3 times at diferent places and all checked out good i drained the fluid and there was large pieces of metal at bottom so i flushed it out and put two tubes of the anti friction additive with the gear oil and it helped but now its doing it again any help would be greatly apriciated thanks semper fi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
